Every 30 min. a cron job is running, syncing `mainnet`. `testnet` and `stagenet`, plus some other idle stuff, consumes less than 50% RAM (Less than 4GB).  With `mainnet` running, it's still a little more than 50% RAM (4.12GB). So, I have no clue what's going on.
