08:10:24 .merge+ 3627 08:10:24 Added 21:24:17 Hi 21:24:36 I am having an issue with getmonero wallet, I didnt received my sent monero, the wallet ID is correct. What shoud I do? 21:25:25 Check the tx was mined. 21:25:47 If it was, check the value of refresh-from-block-height, it should be <= the height of the block that tx is in. 21:26:49 tx has 48 confirmations 21:27:19 If it's the GUI you're using, that setting is something in settings, the name is probably differnet but similar. 21:27:35 and block height is the same 21:28:12 Did you intend to say "the value of refresh-from-block-height is the same as the height the tx was mined in" ? 21:29:21 I might confusing something, but I see 2406270 both places where the height appearing 21:29:46 That's the current height as of now. 21:29:58 If refresh-from-block-height has that, it's wrong. 21:30:16 It might be called somehting like wallet creation height or similar wording. 21:30:44 what that exactly means? 21:31:13 It's the height at which the wallet will start looking for outputs sent to you. It makes refreshing new wallets much faster. 21:31:22 on wallet Daemon syncronized (2406271) not 2406270 21:31:34 That's fine. 21:31:53 and the height on tx 2406270 21:32:17 It can't have 48 confirmations already if that's its height. 21:32:21 Thank you for helping, but I really dont understand what is happening, first timer on monero. Can you tell me what should I do? 21:32:35 Check the value of refresh-from-block-height, it should be <= the height of the block that tx is in. 21:32:42 mib: On the receiving wallet, go to Settings -> Info -> Wallet restore height. What does it say? 21:33:12 2385839 21:33:30 ok 21:33:34 Click "Change", press Ok twice. After the wallet is finished synchronizing your tx should show up. 21:33:58 without modifying the height? 21:33:58 That height's OK though. 21:34:11 mib: yes 21:35:02 Thank you guys 21:35:07 Did it work? 21:35:57 it is under progress still 21:36:26 there are 13k blocks remaining, thank you guys anyway :) 21:42:03 works! 21:42:16 :) 21:42:22 moneromooo: For reasons unbeknownst to me transactions can get "lost" during synchronization sometimes. It's happened to me plenty of times, but I've never been able to debug it. Rescanning will get it to show up if that is what happened. 21:42:24 Can somebody explain why does this happened? 21:42:33 ook :D 21:43:44 If it happened plenty of times, send a level 2 log of it next time you get it with one. 21:44:32 Alright, thank you again :) 21:44:53 Better yet, level 2 logs if it both failing to see it and succeeding. 21:53:49 yeah 21:53:59 I'm thinking about just writing a script that continously rescans a large wallet until it finds an inconsistency. 21:54:13 The usual cadence for this issue is once every 1-2 months and I send a lot of transactions.
