Will I get an executable icon on my screen that I can use to open the wallet? 🥴 I am OLD and I appreciate your patience and assistance.

Maybe I will just try double clicking the icon that precedes the monero tar.bz2 file. I don't want to impose upon any more of your time today so I will just try that and let it ride the rest of the day and start fresh tomorrow.

I selected this and the system proceeded to act on it. I then did a search for monero in the list of apps and found the Monero wallet there. I clicked it and selected the "install" option. I went to my Downloads directory and found the Monero GUI wallet installation file. The file had an icon attached to it that I clicked on. The icon does not appear on my dashboard so I need to find out how to do this (possibly pin it to my dashboard?). I the in the "installed" displays an "open" button and when I tried to open it the operation failed and reported "idconfig failed exit ststus 256". Any ideas on what caused this and how it might be corrected?
