If a dev meeting does not appear, then I would put the issue on the MRL meeting agenda. It's a question of whether devs want to hold a meeting. IIRC, the last #monero-dev meeting was about two years ago.

There's plenty of non-cryptographic work to do in preparation for and later in integrating these updates and I've always felt MRL meetings are for the cryptographers.  Us code mon<clipped message>
