I (stupidly) decided to see what the "checkblockchainpruning" command does (since it's not documented in the --help) expecting it to just print some info, but, after running it, monerod printed one synced block and is now frozen. "monerod status" prints "Error: Problem fetching info-- rpc_request"

I think killing is the only solution here but I'm afraid of corrupting the blockchain file
