yeah i think that's what it is- it's basically an easier/payment id like way for wallets to detect subaddress payment occurances. i actually started with subaddresses at the beginning of the project 🙃

My payment gateway dev experience went the opposite way, I started with integrated addresses and was later told subaddresses were the modern recommendation (kicking off weeks of development to make an efficient subaddress generation/scanning/caching system, lol)

Just want to share that I added a dockerfile / docker-compose example, updated the readme and added a new static site/host for HotShop: hotshop.onrender.com Please use that link to follow the latest HotShop deployment. I would say I feel confident about the overarching user experience, and would like to start getting feedback on bugs, things you'd like to see added. Big things I'd like to add to the app before

Milestone 3 completion: an in-app About page, and payment history (just for the session- it will disappear on page refresh). So... Milestone 2... complete :)

If anyone needs to ever deploy a static site, Netlify and Render.com are really really fantastic. Took about 5 minutes to link them to my repo and setup auto deployment.

github pages is a dinosaur in comparison

they also do auto deployment for feature branches for testing... works like magic

Also just want to share that neocities, for example, won't work for hosting the HotShop, BUT you can use and iframe with your custom HotShop link and it will work fine 🙃. For example: xmrhotshop.neocities.org

downside is you have your primary key and view key on a website, but there are a lot of weird things you can do with iframes

and neocities doesn't allow .wasm hosting on their free plans (FYI)
