<monerobull[m]> "i rather have tankie devs than..." <- I'll take a dev who is able to admit faults with an unfinished integration, patch it out, and move on over a pair of devs locked into endorsing genocide and who using their platform, even if It's your own HW still gives them more social capital:

It's plain and simple the currently best reddit clone

If there was a better one based on nostr I'd swap to that

I kinda don't care about the devs as long as they let you do whatever you want with the software

I might have gotten that perspective from Monero itself

It's a tool for everybody, be it fundraising for sick kittens, donating to LGBTQ causes, funding the daily stormer or buying anything from 59cent Netflix accounts to black tar heroin

As long as politics don't get in the way of the actual software, i couldn't care less about anyone's believes

I think Lemmy had a swearword filter list at some point but it's not mandatory anymore so it's all good in my book

I also think Lemmy is the best in the class of Reddit clones. It is stable and widely used. Kbin, on the other hand, is relatively new project. There is only a handful of instances, and the development is currently funded by an NGI grant, so its future is uncertain.

Kbin says in red text on their site how experimental the software currently is 😅
