<biznotch:matrix.org> Looking for a freelancer to help work on a multi sig wallet issue 🙏🏼
-
m-relay
<no_2:matrix.org> What work do you want done specifically?
-

<plowsof:matrix.org> xBiznotch: does the multi sig wallet issue effect moneros reference implementation?
-
m-relay
<biznotch:matrix.org> Haven Protocol is a Monero fork. Since the v0.18 rebase, our multi-sig wallet can’t be accessed. We need a dev to look at it, since it will probably need a complete rewrite

<biznotch:matrix.org> Need a CN dev for a project work, our multi-sig needs to be rewritten. In 0.18 they moved all the multisig code out of the wallet2 base, and reimplemented it. It is incompatible with Haven and needs a full reworking.

<shortwavesurfer2009:monero.social> Does anyone have --p2p-use-ipv6 setml? My v4 is cgnat so no port forwards over v4 are possible for me, but i can accept inbound v6 but my node has shown 0 in for days

<dave.jp:matrix.org> xBiznotch: there are limited dev resources here, maybe look elsewhere

<plowsof:matrix.org> ""they" moved all the multisig code out of the wallet2 base" - just contact "they" and ask how much money they want
-
m-relay
<biznotch:matrix.org> This is a Monero community, Monero moved the lib, when Haven did a rebase to the latest monero version, it became obvious, that our wallet isn't compatible anymore. Moner is they. We are they.

<plowsof:matrix.org> if only there was a place where changes to source where tracked... showing exactly who "they" are

<plowsof:matrix.org> probably your best bet of finding an answer from the horses mouth

<ml:fsfe.org> works only when v6 peers are manually added afaik. See:
monero-project/monero #8818
-
m-relay
<ml:fsfe.org> Alternatively setup Tor to accept incoming peers over onion
-
m-relay
<shortwavesurfer2009:monero.social> Well, thats annoying. More and more v4 is going cgnat like mine and soon nobody would get peers
-
m-relay
<ml:fsfe.org> if by any chance your Provider implements (the very new) UPnP IGD-PCP IWF [RFC 6970], then monerod's igd should "just work"
-
m-relay
<shortwavesurfer2009:monero.social> Nope
-

<shortwavesurfer2009:monero.social> Proper v6 support is really needed

<shortwavesurfer2009:monero.social> I added my own voice to this thread

<shortwavesurfer2009:monero.social> I cant help the monero community as much till thats fixed
