it was slightly overfunded, I think by 0.1xmr with 2 donors and now a 3rd donor = 0_o
-
nioCat
do they think the extra is going to the dev?

<ofrnxmr:monero.social> mrcyjanek was overfunded by 100xmr
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> The think i dont like, is these funds are supposed to get black holed into GF
-
geonic
nah F that, should go to SNeedlewoods
-
m-relay
<321bob321:monero.social> over funding shoud sit in ccs wallet

<no_2:matrix.org> When Monero migrates to full membership proofs, will this in any way enable multisig? Or are the scriptable outputs of Monero still obfuscated?

<kewbit:matrix.org> I’m scraping data at the rate of about 2000 browsers being open concurrently at the moment for a customer in Kubernetes

m-relay
<kewbit:matrix.org> The failure rate using curl was too high with all those Cloudflare protections

kewbit: there's this if it's any help.
github.com/FlareSolverr/FlareSolverr worked for me in some cases

Nice

m-relay
<kewbit:matrix.org> But because if it’s high enough value data the customer wants, we use residential proxies from bright data any geonode, these basically have a 0% failure rate

m-relay
<kewbit:matrix.org> I also scrape the internet and github forks for emerging haveno networks lol, you cannot hide

<rbrunner7:monero.social> That overfunding of SNeedlewoods 's CCS, by a factor of 8 (!) must surely be a new record. The [CCS rules](
ccs.getmonero.org/what-is-ccs) seem to say that over-funds usually go to the General Fund, with "exceptions rare" and decided by the Core Team. So maybe luigi1111 could have a look. Given the *extremely* low hourly rate of that CCS, I wouldn't mind to make such a "ra<clipped message>
-
m-relay
<rbrunner7:monero.social> re exception" and give the over-funds to the dev.
-
m-relay
<kewbit:matrix.org> I think SNeedlewoods made a very modest offer
-
plowsof
if its a question of activity, i could offer to push things to wip if luigi can't get to it in time after funding (effectively stealing money from developers or the jet fund)
-
plowsof
a counterpoint i read once was that some people where just left on the funding page longer than others and thats not fair! maybe donors see that as 'hey, still not enough'

cc midipoet as its a cex citing "regulatory" issues

Ask them which compliance authority is providing the pressure, and what exactly the pressure is, for clarity. I have tried (and failed) to get info from Central Bank of Ireland and European Central Bank. I am still trying, but they indicate they have not provided any regulatory guidance on how to comply with Article 76(3) of MiCAR, which makes me think the decisions not to provide functionality, or access to specific

the UI right? because i combined that with "custom emojis and gifs" and pondered about all the evil things people do

<syntheticbird:monero.social> The UI yes is completely layout-wise a copy of discord
-
m-relay
<kewbit:matrix.org> Yes, but wasn’t someone making a new bitmessage?

<syntheticbird:monero.social> I remember someone told they were indeed trying to revive it.

<kewbit:matrix.org> That would be a pretty fun one I think, each user is a tor hidden service, that has to have at least 6 xxxxxx at the start of their address, and you could host a websockets client server on each node which would be compatible propagating truths in group chats etc.
-
m-relay
<kewbit:matrix.org> Truths would be signed by the sender anyway so you couldn’t spoof it
-
m-relay
<kewbit:matrix.org> A truth would be one message or some kind of message type propagated or received by at least one other person.
-
m-relay
<syntheticbird:monero.social> just to be clear, you're talking about bitmessage?
