<syntheticbird:monero.social> and rbrunner wished on reddit he was able to give his dev effort with half a percent precision

and then i seen it a day later and shared it

<j0j0xmr:monero.social> Guess its not their CCS. Weird.

ofrnxmr
Maybe they got a donation from someone to do it
-
ofrnxmr
Wouldnt be the first time a donor funded a ccs that was in idea stage

<ohchase:envs.net> was just reading that post mortum figured I'd add that in section Missing Funds, "We were able to account for the majority of enotes, but some are not accounted for. In transaction bb77d…d1a58 with elevent output enotes", "elevent" should be "eleven"
-
m-relay
<ohchase:envs.net> okay also section User of Monerujo PocketChange, "created an initial merging transaction with elevent output enotes", "elevent" should be "eleven"

<r4v3r23:monero.social> on what
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> i think plow is asking if you have any feedback on monfluo (the mysu fork)
-
plowsof
-
plowsof
Is anonero on that list of wallets ofrnxmr?
-
plowsof
How many sdk's / backends are the community funding now
-
plowsof
Anonero vs Mysu differences? Not comparable?
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> anonero, tor only, offline / air gapped signing (2 apps, anon and nero), background sync. Monfluo, monerujo and cake are only wallets with subaccounts, add for multi-wallets you can add stack wallet to the list
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Sdk is like vaporware. monero_c/dart/xmruw is used by cake and stack wallet
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Monerujo's tor/proxy support is trash / broken. Monerujo also seems to corrupts wallets a lot. Monfluo/mysu and anonero have no "secrets" in the codebase for apis etc
-
plowsof
Any reason why the extra features you mention cant be sponsored to be completed on anonero? (By the same dev)
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> I dont think anonero and monfluo are directly comparable. Anonero is first and foremost a privacy-first wallet (proxy enforced), and has UR airgapped signing, as well as background sync.
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> monfluo is a barebones wallet, that supports as many core monero features as possible (multiwallet, subaccounts)
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> they both have coin control, polyseed w/ passphrases.
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Because anonero is a "paranoid" wallet. Monfluo is for normal ppl
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Xmruw is closer to anonero w/o the paranoia (but uses monero_c)
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Monfluo is closer to monerujo, but converted to kotlin with years of bugfixes and improvements that monerujo didnt care about users enough to impl
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> anonero = paranoid wallet with bleeding edge features
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> monerujo = was good, but pretty much dead now
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Monfluo = monerujo rewritten (for years) and surpasses monerujo now imo.
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Only thing monerujo does that monfluo doesnt, is fiat api and exchanges. Everything else monfluo has matched or surpassed monerujo. Mysu was always intended to replace monerujo, because monerujo rip

<rucknium:monero.social> Could someone tell dEBRUYNE that the OSPEAD estimate of Monero's real spend distribution isn't based on Litecoin. I use Litecoin as a testbed for validating OSPEAD, i.e. input LTC, add ring signatures on top, run OSPEAD, then the LTC real spend distribution is the end result of the process. I am having trouble logging into Reddit right now:

<rucknium:monero.social> > Applying OSPEAD techniques to the simulated ring dataset, the empirical LTC distribution of ISO week 2022-10 can be recovered. The successful estimation demonstrates that OSPEAD can recover a realistic real spend distribution from 16-member rings even in the presence of nonstandard rings.
