  If you mean running wallet and daemon locally, but use a VPN for p2p daemon connections to other nodes, it's fine.

  I kinda confused vpn and vps in my first reading, so the vagueness was my fault :)

  is okay and i meant like running something like OpenVpn then Running the Daemon node for the GUI wallet? im just making sure im able to run a vpn while also accessing my Monero GUI wallet

  Yes, that's fine.

  You probbly won't get incoming connections though (depends on your vpn).

  That makes your connection to the p2p network a bit more brittle, but everything will still work.
