hi, I'm looking to integrate monero at an exchange that I work at. multisig is the only blocker. who has the most experience with it? also, has mpc been considered / does it work?
-
UkoeHB
boogerlad[m]: multisig is afk right now, pending some security-related PRs. I am not aware of any MPC implementation.
-
UkoeHB
-
boogerlad[m]
thank you for that. I guess I'll revisit at a later date. regarding the ux, does the current multisig implementation allow for key rotation / addition / subtraction?
-
boogerlad[m]
that is, let's say an employee that is a signer leaves the company. the key could be invalidated by simply making a new wallet
-
boogerlad[m]
but that's a hassle. let me know if this is the wrong place to post
-
UkoeHB
boogerlad[m]: you'd need to make a new wallet

spantheslayer[m]
Hey Monero Devs
-
spantheslayer[m]
I want to contribute to this project
-
spantheslayer[m]
can anyone please provide me some info on this?
-
spantheslayer[m]
p.s: I went through the github coontribute page but if I could know if there any specific things that needs to be worked on. I could then pick faster
-
Canadiantaku[m]
spantheslayer[m]: i heard just idling and reading the messages here can help you get started, don't remember what to do after

jetsteel[m]
spantheslayer: Tangent to your question. Depending on what you already know, I would highly recommend reading "zero to monero". It has a lot of accessible explanations for technical stuff. Unless you already know all those things.

Should have some kind of monitoring for these ssl certificate expiry’s, have noticed second time we went down in last few years
-
asheroto[m]
I noticed that too. Usually the SSL vendor sends reminder e-mails...
-
spantheslayer[m]
Any idea whos in charge of the SSL Cert?
-
fluffypony
yeah not sure why they didn't
-
fluffypony
spantheslayer[m]: nobody and everybody
-
binaryFate
cert is fixed now
-
asheroto[m]
This looks promising. Free service to alert on SSL renewals or problems.

Inge: www.getmonero.org is served from a CDN, web.getmonero.org is the source served from the server
