If you are still around to read this: On my monerotech.info site I took great care to implement exactly the same seed "encryption" with offset phrases as the CLI wallet

If there really are differences that's very bad, and I would like to have a look at it

If you have fresh, "throwaway" seeds without any balance or privacy issues that demonstrate the problem, I would be very grateful to receive them to check

I'm getting a segfault in monerod during first sync after new install on Mac M1 Max. Gets to around block 2719745 and dies. What troubleshooting / bug reporting steps can I take?

Potential corrupted storage device? Thats almost fully synced

Ah, sorry, no: v0.18.1.2-release - maybe homebrew not updated.

Re storage device, it's my main drive on my laptop, no signs of (other) corruption. I've deleted the lmdb dir a few times to try again. Same result around the same block each time (I've tried 4 times I think, including one starting with an old lmdb from my previous install that was pre that block).

either you use release binaries from getmonero.org or you have to specify an older SDK and manually compile

don't have a good solution for homebrew currently
