If Monero is as private as it gets and in theory people can't see transactions and wallet balances unless using very specialised tools and even then there are loopholes...

How do we know the market capitalisation of Monero?

We know the amount of monero created (coinbase amounts are cleartext). We know the average price a monero is bought and sold for. The definition of market cap is the product of those.

So if someone uses those tools they could theoretically trace Monero if those tools somehow outpace the development race

Sorry, for be more precise, there exist potential vulnerabilities that weaken Monero's privacy, but there is no existing tool that coordinates the use of these vulnerabilities to effectively de-anonymized Monero's transactions

hey guys I hope someone can help me with my issue. I cloned the git repo and powered on the daemon with a pruned blockchain. Afterwards I importet my wallet and I setup the rpc wallet. But as soon as the rpc wallet is starting it prompts me with the error: THROW EXCEPTION: tool:error:no_connection_to_daemon.

Is this normal or did I messed something up? at the start I did the make vor release version 0.18.2.2
