Hi, if another clone of monero was written in Rust, do you think it will be accepted by the Monero team and community ?

If you mean "merged to the tree", unlikely. If you mean "not hated", not sure. There are pros and cons.

Having two is good to detect possible bugs, but also makes an accidental fork more likely if such a bug is hit.

I think it'd be a good thing, all things considered. Monero's a moving target though.
