Sigh. I always feel so incredibly dumb when, after some time, I checkout Monero "master" source on my Debian system, try to compile, and right away run into problems I can't solve
-
rbrunner
On my Debian 12 system I get, for release as well as debug compile, the following error:
-
rbrunner
make[3]: *** No rule to make target '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/librt.so', needed by 'bin/monero-wallet-rpc'. Stop.
-
rbrunner
My system indeed has only the following file: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/librt.so.1
-
rbrunner
False alarm, unnecessary rant. I think my build directory predated the switch from Debian 11 to Debian 12. A simple "make clean" did the trick.

The Linux dev's equivalent of "Did you already try to switch it off and on again?" :)

<strawberrychocolatefudge:matrix.org> Hi, I would like to propose an address and key correspondence check for monero-wallet-rpc generate_from_keys
monero-project/monero #9859
-
m-relay
<strawberrychocolatefudge:matrix.org> When the key and address don't correspond to each other it should error, instead of outputting a malformed wallet file.

ofrnxmr
Its the merge staging bot
-
m-relay
<syntheticbird:monero.social> PR merge queue
-
NorrinRadd
the bot merges 1 by 1 & does ci for each one?
-
m-relay
<syntheticbird:monero.social> the bot does no CI
-
ofrnxmr
The bot just tracks which ones are to be manually merged
-
m-relay
<syntheticbird:monero.social> it's just a way for selsta to later on ask the bot to merge all the PRs he marked in the queue

NorrinRadd the bot just keeps track, it doesnt do the merges. And the ci runs automatically for ever pr and commit
