You need to run "mdb_stat -rr /home/username/.bitmonero/lmdb" periodically

You can build it by going to external/db_drivers/liblmdb directory and running make

windows does not like .exe (thats what the installer is) - its likely deleted on arrival - recommend to download the .zip / archive when using windows, but you still require an exclusion folder

oh yeah

windows defender will automatically delete files

after it detects that it's a "malware"

sometimes instantly , other times it'll do it days/weeks later :(

windows doesn't care about .exe

it's specifically the monero wallet exe because it has a miner in it

that AVs detect

win defender intercepts files as soon as they are written, which means there'll be a lot of AV interference even with the exclusion folder

(it used to be that it'll only intercept when the file is being executed)

disabling windows defender indefinitely isnt an option, windows users can only install another antivirus to disable it (but antiviruses reduce FPS in games randomly which is priority number 1 so thats also not an option)
