-
m-relay<tempest42:matrix.org> Log level 3 shows my balance but without any log level there's no information about whats going on
-
m-relay<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> No
-
m-relay<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Should it? Probably. Does it? No

m-relay<r4v3r23:monero.social> can accounts have their own separate view key
-
DataHoarderno
-
DataHoarder(there is no difference between account or subaddress, it's just a logical way to organize them but they all get generated from same view key
-
m-relay<jeffro256:monero.social> Not without making scanning take O(N) time where N is the number of accounts
-
m-relay<monero.arbo:matrix.org> hmm, it would be faster than syncing separate wallets though
-
DataHoarderIt'd be equally fast, if done at the same time. Nothing stopping it from doing that (I "sync" many wallets at once for blocks.p2pool.observer, but I filter off anything but coinbase txs, though it's still relatively "fast" specially after view tags
-
DataHoarderI don't think this is that supported except in a couple of projects?
-
m-relay<monero.arbo:matrix.org> hmm, yes, I guess I mean "separate wallets" in the sense of standard user wallets like the GUI or feather. They don't share a cache for data downloaded from the node, so effectively you have to download all the sync data twice
