Hello, I've heard about the almost 51% attack against the Monero blockchain. I've read several Reddit posts about it, watching videos but I was missing a direct and easy way to hear what the developers have to say about it and how they are planning to prevent that in the future. I'm sure that there has been an official reaction to the situation from the developers but I guess I've missed

it. Can you please tell me where can I see such announcements in the future? I am planning to mine Monero further if I can be sure that the project has not been compromised like many others before. Are you planning to react to the attack with a hard fork? Thank you very much for your answer, I really appreciate it!

<monero.arbo:matrix.org> most discussion happens on github (
github.com/monero-project/research-lab/issues) or in meetings (scheduled at
github.com/monero-project/meta/issues) in the #monero-research-lab:monero.social

Hi, devs. I'm not a dev. But very interested in getting involved on some level if possible.

What are the largest unmet tooling needs that are blocking Monero integration with apps, wallets or DeFi projects? Im looking for areas where the community needs product direction, coordination, or specification, not coding. Basically, where are devs currently stuck or lacking resources?

something like "We need X but nobody has time for it" is what I'm looking for!

Im trying to avoid duplicating efforts (MoneroPay, wallets, GUI work, or ongoing CSS projects). Specifically looking for gaps in the ecosystem that devs know we have, but no one in the community is owning.

<rbrunner7:monero.social> seekdalooper: I don't know whether that would fit the bill for you, because you don't directly mention it with "product direction, coordination, or specification", but there is indeed a lack as I see it: good documentation, how-tos, tutorials and similar. For example, we have the same questions again and again in the Monero subreddit, and wouldn't it be nice to have for almost all<clipped message>

<rbrunner7:monero.social> these FAQs something ready that is well researched, well written, and, very importantly, *constantly kept current and updated*, because Monero is a moving target and an outdated doc can be worse than none at all.

Thanks! I can definitely take on documentation and guides.

To narrow it down a bit more, would documentation on user guides, RPC/integration guides for developers, or merchant/business onboarding be most helpful right now? I’m happy to start with whichever area is the biggest pain point.

And is there an existing GitHub repo or should I create a new one and organize there?
