I don't think address switch dxists. IT's account switch.

But address new doesn't create a new account, just another alias for the current account.

You're missing a monero tx you think you should have received ? Check your monerod is synced first.

Then wallet. "status" on both. Check they're both at the same height (+/- 1).

If you have a txid, check its height on an explorer (eg, xmrchain.net), and make sure dameon/wallet are at least there.

If it's a new wallet, type "set" and check the value of refresh-from-block-height is less than that the tx's height.

If it's a bitcoin tx you're missing, ask a bitcoin channel.
