i opened monerod from terminal and it is sating failed to connect to any of seed peers, continuing without seeds, then a big list of ip address and it says the same error, this repeats

My seed node's been up for 6 days so there's at least one ready to use.

I assume networking works on that machine/vm ? :D

im using mainnet, i think, because the ports i am connecting to end in 18081 or 89?

ive been able to connect to dameon before but it just now stopped about a week ago

Those are RPC ports.

You can try, as a one off: --add-exclusive-node 88.198.163.90:18080 (that's my seed node).

If it can connect, it means somehow all connections to seed nodes failed at the time, which hints at a temporary network issue maybe.

If it doesn't work, we can investigate further.

run that in monerod terminal?

As for not being able to connect a wallet to your daemon, if your daemon can't find the monero network, it won't accept RPC connections IIRC.

Or, rather, it will, bit not allow much to be done.

Are you sure internet access worjs on that machine ?

If so, maybe some asshole upstream, like your ISP, is tampering with your traffic.

The actual error is a fw lines above.

It usually is "cannot bind to p2p port", but might not be.
