The problem is that you are trying to use gui in a way that it is not designed to be used

Desktop linux apps can be ported to android, but in most cases they require a lot of compatibility changes.

Example. KDE has a whole suite of android ports that dont work on my device

Dont let the existence of android code in the repo lead you to believe that GUI is intended to be used on android. It is not.

Until a developer decides to properly fork gui to android, it is not expected to function.
