Find your camera device, probably some USB one. Add your user to its group.

lsusb might help find it

Devices will be in /dev/usb, probably.

Actually dmesg is even better to find it.

You'll have to start a new shell after adding your user to the group (not sure how you're meant to do this, I just add the user to /etc/group or whatever the file is but I think there's a better way with some command).

So find which /dev device got allocated for it.
