That stack trace stuff is back to being useless (in TF at least). Not sure why. It used to be very useful to me, but since I no longer hack on monero, feel free to remove/disable it if you wish to.

Alright, so I wasn't going crazy? lol so you commented that line out in ea_config.h, manually updated some depends, and modified a Makefile?

If I read it right, the only change necessary is adding "-D STACK_TRACE=OFF" in Makefile for the cmake command line for the target you use.

It's a bodge though, but I doubt you care :)

Well, that the build system (or source) needs some tweaking for FreeBSD.

master compilation also fails unless that is added. some rudimentary blame browsing didn't uncover any suspects
