hello, is a list of hashes for each bin available anywhere for the static docker builds?

I do not think docker builds are reproducible. If you're after the hashes for the reproducible builds using gitian, they're on github in a separate repo, lemme look it up...

Well, signatures, but there might be hashes too if you look.

I'll have a look there, thanks for the link. I thought the idea of the static docker builds was that it was reproducible. it's called 'Building Reproducible Linux static binaries with Docker (any OS)' in the github readme and has a step to compare the SHA-256 hash.

Then maybe it is possible and I did not know.

I was assuming monero, not monero-gui. Please ignore what I said.

The reason I ask is monero-wallet-gui is a match to the complied bin from the github releases page, however the hash for monerod doesn't match what I build in docker.

all good. I did see that the docker build instructions are very different in the monero repository.

livi: we take monerod from the cli release binaries

the linux and windows monero-wallet-gui hash should match

to get a matching hash for monerod you have to do this build process github.com/monero-project/monero/tree/master/contrib/gitian
