<DataHoarder> "you can make an armv8/aarch64..." <- How can I compile like that?

I have an ubuntu 20.04.3 server for arm64 raspberry pi image burnt into my sdcard.

Compile it on the raspi itself

doesn't show a --no-AES or whatever it is flag during the compilation.

just edit the Makefile

find release-static (if your build command is "make release-static") and add -D NO_AES=ON to cmake command there

oh, there's even "release-static-linux-armv8" target. It's better to use that one and add -D NO_AES=ON there

So out of being bored and curious, I setup xmrig on my Samsung S20FE. Stable running at ~650H/s. Granted not going to actually mine with the phone, however when its time for an upgrade, the phone is getting stripped down to bare bones and it'll be mining with as much active cooling as I can get on it.

getting very close to 100 miners on p2pool.

650H/s outperforms a lot of low end laptops ...

tuned it down to two threads at a stable 500h/s, doesn't get too warm, and still functions as a phone
