Ingesech1: xmrig support merge mining yet?
-
Ingeor don't you need to do anything for dark.fi?
-
plowsof
-
mrelayYou do not need to change anything to xmrig for merge mining.
-
mrelayThough using a recent xmrig is best for performance as it includes a header with the expected difficulty of a share.
-
mrelayBut it'd work regardless with an old xmrig.
-
mrelayNow, that's assuming those use the same merge mining system as TF/Tari. Which they really should.
-
Ingebut you are still limited to like merge-mining just one thing with xmr? so can't "triple dip" and do xmr/TF/Tari as well as dark.fi (assuming they use the same system) - iirc?
-
mrelayIf your chain does merge mining the same way as Townforge does, then you can mine it alongside with TF.
-
mrelayI'm told Tari has cut a corner there, but I assume they'll fix that.
-
mrelayIf they do, you can mine TF+tari with monero at the same time. And dark.fi too, if they follow the same scheme.
-
mrelayAnd with sech1's work, you'll soon be able to do that with p2pool too.
-
Ingenice
-
mrelayNow, I'm thinking the changes I made to jtgrassie's pool support only one merge mined chain.
-
Ingetsk tsk.
-
sech1mrelay not relaying usernames?
-
mrelay<moneromooo> It does now.
-
sech1wow, magic
-
mrelay<sech1> Yes.
-
Inge<moneromooo> It also does ventriloquism.
-
mrelay<fluffypony> Hi. Long time no see.
-
mrelay<mrelay> Oh crap. A recursive loop.
-
moneromoooI feel more... bovine now.
-
Ingegood for digestion I presume
-
sech1TF+tari+p2pool will have the same system and can be mined at the same time, and I talked to dark.fi
-
sech1
-
moneromoooDoes that dark.fi coin look like a scam, if anyone looked ?
-
moneromoooWould be a shame to have the first merge mined coin be one.
-
sech1It doesn't matter for mining purposes. Mine -> sell, mine -> sell, ....
-
sech1At least they have active developers
