chad[m]Thanks

chad[m]@sech1 IIUC, there is no good way forward, and nothing is stopping an attacker from flooding the network right now. If so, any users who don't update to the latest release will have effectively ring size 1 transactions. Am I correct?
-
chad[m]Something else to consider, is reaching out to large mining pools and asking them to cooperate by mining empty blocks as needed to prevent the avg output count from reaching 120
-
UkoeHBI don't think that's quite right.
-
UkoeHBsomeone would need to spam 7.9mill transactions to break tx building
-
chad[m]Ah, so it would prevent outdated wallets from being able to build a valid transaction? That is much less scary :)
-
UkoeHBand ring selection doesn't appear completely broken - there is definitely an odd bias, but ring members are still distributed across all outputs
-
chad[m]Weakened, but not broken, as I understand it
-
chad[m]Thanks for clarifying
