slave_blocker
-
slave_blockeri'll pay 0.1 xmr to whoever helps me
-
ghostway[m]Um, ok?... What can't you compile? This is a library, you can compile its examples. Try doing cargo b --examples
-
ghostway[m]Ah, it doesn't have examples. But you can compile tests / benches. If you want to test functionality, you can write some minimal main.rs and link against this
-
slave_blockerthe repo has a custom rust-toolchain
-
slave_blockerit is nightly...
-
slave_blockerthat all is fine but then it also needs a rustfmt
-
ghostway[m]No problem with that really
-
slave_blockerdont know how to rustup that not to the global rustc but to the one inside the repo
-
ghostway[m]It doesn't need rustfmt
-
ghostway[m]It will install. But really this is not for this room mostly
-
slave_blockerit is for this room

-
ghostway[m]Ah you're on irc right, I'm on matrix. Not sure it's possible to do this then (not on my machine)
-
slave_blockerok
-
Rucknium[m]DMs from IRC to Matrix work. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted on the IRC side. Post the solution here when you figure it out, please.
-

tonz0fphun[m]So I read the second article which is a bit shorter. Author seems to suggest that there exist a few weaknesses in the RingCT obfuscation mechanism, one which is that transaction inputs and fake transactions are drawn from different distributions. I don't know if that is the case (I'd have to look into... (full message at <libera.ems.host/_matrix/media/v3/do…897e9804a6c72303c7524c1758adfe53747>)
