Ah, it doesn't have examples. But you can compile tests / benches. If you want to test functionality, you can write some minimal main.rs and link against this

So I read the second article which is a bit shorter. Author seems to suggest that there exist a few weaknesses in the RingCT obfuscation mechanism, one which is that transaction inputs and fake transactions are drawn from different distributions.
