m-relay<preland:matrix.org> Out of curiosity (I’ve always wondered this but never known) if there was at any point in Monero’s history, a bug that allowed an invalid transaction to occur (double spend, accidental deletion of funds in transit, a bad actor giving themselves 10 septillion Monero, etc.), would there be a way for us to know? m-relay<preland:matrix.org> I’ve always just assumed that the transaction would be invalidated somehow, but I still have that small fear that someday someone is just going to casually deposit 30 million XMR into a CEX wallet and cause a complete meltdown of the currency.
