Kaya followed up last week's discussion with a plausible path towards wallet2 integration (
gist.github.com/kayabaNerve/3b2c648c623bc4ce4ca288725428ea76), which would make it useful to a wider range of projects. I wasn't able to dive into this yet, but I think it's worth exploring.

You can use monero-clsag for CLSAG multisig without ever touching monero-wallet (and any additional dependencies that brings). This isn't a topic I'm flippant on and do consider.
