also I'm sure 99% of the community think the war of drugs is BS but some of this can be written in a way that is less controversial and contains less personal opinion

i don't see the problem. I wanted to bring a practical example of how banning a platform that is used for criminal purposes will only result in more platforms being created. If we don't want to mention silk road (an unmotivated fear IMO) we can mention something else.
