ErCiccioneCan we have some more feedback on this? monero-project/monero-site #2010 current consensus seems to be for rejecting the pr.

ErCiccioneluigi1111 please merge when you have a change. The sooner the better because we need monero-project/monero-site #2135 to fix ci

ofrnxmr[m]Re 2010, they dont even describe xmr properly on their site.

ofrnxmr[m]Calling xmr a token, cryptonight etc.

hardenedsteel[m]what about putting kycnot.me ?
-
ErCiccione<hardenedsteel[m]> "what about putting https://..." <- i'm ok with listing it somewhere (if it's not already), but i wouldn't give it a prominent position. While it's a good source, they seem to be very generous with their votes (e.g bisq is 10/10, the platform with the highest score, despite their massive privacy issues) and things are listed quickly, so there is stuff that is pretty new that i would personally wait a bit before

ErCiccionelisting.

hardenedsteel[m]ErCiccione: not perfect but better than coingecko's rating.
-
ErCiccioneThey are also two very different things
-
hardenedsteel[m]<ErCiccione> "They are also two very different..." <- How so? Both are listing exchange. The difference I've seen is kycnot.me doesn't show the price of XMR.
-
hardenedsteel[m]s/exchange/exchanges/
-
ErCiccionekycnot.me is a platformthat suggests people services they can use without kyc. Coingecko is an aggregator to show information about cryptocurrencies, and particularly, their market value. They might both list exchanges as part of what they do, but that doesn't make them the same thing.
-
hardenedsteel[m]<ErCiccione> "kycnot.me is a platformthat..." <- what's matter other cryptocurrencies for Monero?
-
ofrnxmr[m]And again, coingecko wanted to be listed and had bad infi, months later, still hasnt done much to fix it
