lets gut/remove "Download blockchain" from getmonero - waste of resources, misses the whole point of running a full node and so far out of date its useless. the monero pi2b user should not be using our bandwidth in the hopes his node will sync faster either

I think, if anything, it should just be a torrent for the actual data.mdb of a full node at latest checkpoint

a torrent should ensure it hasn't been tampered with, and we already skip a lot of verification up to the latest checkpoint anyway. Just my 2 cents, not really a suggestion

getmonero even says "**Never** use the dangerous unverified import option, it is strictly for experts only. Especially, don't use it with any blockchain you download from the Internet, including the official site." lol
