chch3003's design is awesome, and so far appears fully functional on tor. i've yet to check mobile. but what part of my comment on the ccs regarding "have you contributed to current site / have you tried to add js in any small fashion to the front end". continuing to suggest javascript (even optional) on the front end after it's a hard no and

mentioning something about 99% of users having it enabled in the proposal itself is 'out of touch' surely. by not making any contributions to current site you do not yet have a grasp on the inner workings / needs / wants of the project.. pain points.. requirements... which of course can all be learned. - although you can make a pretty front end ..

this may just add to delays / disagreements - thats why im suggesting to trim the proposal right down

ajs_ checking on the monero blogs history, under "community" at least , i do not see any blog posts of this nature so it would be a 1st and requires feedback

core do encourage / value events including Monerokon, as seen by e.g. binaryFates praises / prev general fund contributions to ccs fund raisers. if blog is the best avenue for that (as its a 1st of its kind) just needs some feedback

on site re-design proposal, monero-site is not broken in my opinion and don't need fixing, flashy re-design with 100 of possible problems is not something I would support

maybe if you spent year working around the site already and do re-design on current codebase or maybe hugo (?)

<s​iren:kernal.eu> If anyone wants to make a design, make sure to base it on a convenient to use site generator. It could be Hugo or Vitepress. Jekyll is a pain and nobody wants to write HTML by hand.
