css coordinator reporting for duty

so we're using one massive "custom.css" file, which kinda sucks for designers/development. theres this thing called "sass" (which we have by default with jekyll). it allows you to split your css into multiple files , and then when site is built it combined everything into 1 file (which is easily compressed with a compressed: true _config setting)

attempting to setup sass and you run into some errors.. which are shown here jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validat…=all&warning=1&vextwarning=&lang=en
