<redsh4de:matrix.org> Hello everyone, has the Figma redesign proceeded with implementation? If there is currently nobody working on the redesign of the website, id want to volunteer some work in that area. Have a few years of experience working as a web developer

m-relay_
<redsh4de:matrix.org> nvm, just noticed the replies in #monero:monero.social , slow refresh
-
m-relay_
<redsh4de:matrix.org> Could we schedule a meeting regarding the redesign project?
-
m-relay_
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> I don't think anyone wants to deal with a website migration atm. Too much of a distraction from higher priority subjects
-
m-relay_
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> when i say "anyone" i mean, the website is a vital part if the infra and decisions or progress need dedicated time from multiple people.
-
m-relay_
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> of course youre welcome to implement the figma, but the figma and content isnt finished or decided
-
m-relay_
<redsh4de:matrix.org> Yeah, of course - not trying to push for a full migration immediately, mainly want to get the frontend/design parts itself implemented in code, so that when things like FCMP++ and the higher priority subjects are completed, we have the page, components and everything at the ready for a migration when it comes to it. Would have to be done eventually, so since everyone else is busy,<clipped message>
-
m-relay_
<redsh4de:matrix.org> want to set up to work on it in the background so there are less things to do in the future.
-
m-relay_
<redsh4de:matrix.org> Would need to know where things were left off regarding it, exactly which of the Figmas consensus was reached on since i saw several, and if a implementation was already started, to avoid repeating work that was already done

<basses:matrix.org> syn kept his code proprietary 😠
-
m-relay_
<basses:matrix.org> was a couple of barebones pages
-
m-relay_
<basses:matrix.org> not a significant progress
-
m-relay_
<redsh4de:matrix.org> Well, progressing well so far with the index page - currently have the footer/header components and global styles, fonts & base layout set up - one slight blocker i have is that the Figma is restricted, so am unable to export the SVG assets, icons and the like, are those available anywhere?
-
m-relay_
<basses:matrix.org> Diego Salazar
-
m-relay_
<redsh4de:matrix.org> (restricted in the sense that you can view it, but copying the figma or exporting anything is disabled)

<redsh4de:matrix.org> Got something like this going on so far
-
m-relay_
<redsh4de:matrix.org> Do we have a sitemap available?

<redsh4de:matrix.org> Do we have a sitemap available for the redesign?
-
m-relay_
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> No
-
m-relay_
<basses:matrix.org> .
-
m-relay_
<diego:cypherstack.com> Light mode first imo
-

<redsh4de:matrix.org> Taken care of 👌 since i saw no toggle for themes in the design, it decides which one to use based on system theme and assigns different css variables for colors
-

<redsh4de:matrix.org> light by default
-
m-relay_
<redsh4de:matrix.org> light by default (css wise)

<syntheticbird:monero.social> So great to see someone implementing it
-

<syntheticbird:monero.social> i don't have the time anymore for web development (including my wip ccs website revamp following the same design)

<rottenwheel:unredacted.org> Hey, thanks for joining. Just out of curiosity here, what front-end (or back-end) programming languages are you normally proficient with? :D
-
m-relay_
<syntheticbird:monero.social> screenshot is showing astro debug bar so without a doubt typescript
-
m-relay_
<rottenwheel:unredacted.org> Did I ask you that question? No.
-
m-relay_
<syntheticbird:monero.social> GET GRUMPY I WILL STILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTION
-
m-relay_
<rottenwheel:unredacted.org> But thanks for sharing _one_ of however many languages he happens to be proficient with. Thanks, kitty cat.
-
m-relay_
<rottenwheel:unredacted.org> I love you so much bb.
-
m-relay_
<rottenwheel:unredacted.org> Give me your number, I miss talking to you. 😳

<redsh4de:matrix.org> For frontend, the TypeScript frameworks ive worked with are React/Next, Vue, Angular
-
m-relay_
<redsh4de:matrix.org> As for backend: Node.js/Nest, Python, C#, Go, PHP
-
m-relay_
<redsh4de:matrix.org> more or less in the order of proficiency
-
m-relay_
<rottenwheel:unredacted.org> Do you mind if I open PM? :D
-
m-relay_
<redsh4de:matrix.org> (i guess Astro as of today as well)
