Sorry to ask another question here, but I'm trying my best to get a local node running with Monero. I launch monerod on my machine, and the daemon synchronizes. My wallet is synchronized as well. After I launch the GUI, it tries to launch the node in about 10 seconds, but the node times out. I'm (trying) to run a local node.

I think I fixed it. My conf was using restricted-rpc=1... now to figure out how to get mining to work :)

2fa doesn't care how you connect but you must be logged in (identified) thru libera. it's an added layer not a replacement

and when you leave your bot session is killed & rate limited for at least 30 seconds

so yes waiting at least 30 sec then trying again or doing /cycle can fix issues but will not fix 2fa being locked
