hey i'm trying to get monero mining on P2Pools. I've only used the GUI version in linux before. P2Pools wants me to install the CLI version.. I've downloaded the CLI version but have no clue how to intsall it. I don't know linux really, just following sensible instructions.. where do I put the files in the extracted folder?

noperallels: You don't have to put them anywhere specific, you just run the p2pool executable by passing it the appropriate startup parameters

example startup parameters can be found in github readme

Does anybody happen to know how to best send something directly to tevador? I saw I could send them a PM on Reddit but their last post was 1 month ago.

rbrunner tevador is sometimes on IRC, last seen 4 days ago in this channel. I also have his e-mail if it can't wait.

It's not very urgent, but if you think it's acceptable to entrust me with their email address it would be nice to have some way to contact in a "deterministic" timeframe.

No, that's the fee if you're buying crypto via credit card through their dedicated app

The deposit fees are different, and depend on what you're depositing (though for most cryptos they're free)

eoc: Look at the asterisks. That 0.5% is on top of the other processing fees, but it's specifically for that app

If you go through the standard deposit methods (not through that specific app) you can make a "regular" deposit

And avoid those big fees
