I'm a member of a local crypto OTC discord server. I use an obscure nickname and an e-mail address in the form of nickname@domain. The other day I was a complete and utter idiot and used that e-mail address with a website that has KYC data on it. I'm not sure how to move forward, should I completely ghost that discord account, create a new one and tell no one I'm the same person? Or should I tell a couple of people (including the admin) so

that my trade reputation is maintained?

I wouldn't tell anyone who isn't on the level of my spouse or my best friend, in that situation, pretty much the only two people I'd tell (both of which are technical and sympathetic enough to know why and how to keep that secret).

I'd also be *very* careful about how to use Discord in those circumstances. Discord is not a trustworthy platform.
