Hi, new monero user here.

I have a local node setup and synced in my network. I connected my wallet to it and it works fine (using monero-wallet-cli). I am trying to make a transfer but am unable to confirm at the confirmation screen ("Is this okay ?") when I hit Enter all I see is a '^M' input and I cannot confirm. Is this a known issue ?

What terminal are you using ?

Gnome Terminal 3.30.2

All my other inputs work fine

Is this okay? (Y/Yes/N/No): Y^M

but Enter is never 'sent'

I will test other tty, term, just wondered if anybody hit that issue here

That is really weird. ^M is \r, I wouldn't expect this here if not running Windows, which Gnome Terminal suggests it's not. Try anohter.

Just FYI, works fine with lxterminal. Thanks for the input anyways :)

Great. If you find out what kind of configuration weirdness causes this with gnome terminal let us know :)

Is there a trick that can prevent you from commenting to a Reddit post?

I can comment to other posts, I actually tried

I tried new Reddit, and there it's already "No longer available". Seems its an "old" versus "new" reddit thing then.
