When will multisig wallet loose it’s ‘experimental feature’ status? Are there still many known bugs or is it secure already?

It will be removed after multisig has gone through a full security analysis

Other big players need the feature, and one person basically found and fixed the old issues. We (i) trust this persons skill level, and they are the ones who stated that they are unsure the quality of the untouched parts of multisig and wanted an analysis performed before we released it

For all we know, its secure. But smarter minds say "verify much further" - it is experimental until fully verified.

Hey guys, I have a question regarding Monero API. Namely with validating user logins

Is there a way to authenticate a wallet (without passing any details of course) over REST?

I'm writing an app for someone and although I'm not very wise on crypto, we want to make it fairly private - no user emails if possible.

RPC endpoints are "sign" and "verify".

I assume having a wallet address on file is OK. You need to have *something*.

Nerochan uses "sign in with Monero" and checks the signature with Monero RPC on the backend. github.com/lalanza808/nerochan Not sure if there is a client-side JavaScript library. But you could probably use WebAssembly.

You would need to check the signature on the backend anyway.

that's what i used for challenge based authentication - have the user sign a message with their wallet and have the backend verify it against wallet-rpc

I am downloading monerod on my nvme mounted on my RockPro 64, tells me I will be fully booted in 11 days, is that normal or would it take longer on other drives. I tried booting with my NVME on my rockpro but its been a pain
