m-relay<kilopool:matrix.org> The new Kilopool mining pool has just launched with custom backend, internationalization support, TLS support, automatic NiceHash mode for miners, block template timeout of 10 seconds, and **0% fees for the first week**. kilopool.com

plowsof"KiloPool uses a custom high-performance backend written from scratch with custom optimizations, which allow the template update interval of 10 seconds (most other pools update it every 20 seconds or more)."
-
plowsofWritten from scratch, impressive, and only an 0.8% fee! If only there was a decentralised alternative woth 0% fees

m-relay<kilopool:matrix.org> As the blog post clearly states, we support P2Pool, however it may not be convenient for everyone.
-
plowsofIs this marketing none sense or is the rewrite from scratch source available
-
m-relay<kilopool:matrix.org> At the moment the source code is proprietary.
-
m-relay<kilopool:matrix.org> Of course, this does not mean that it will never be open-source - one day Kilopool may be released with an open-source license.

sech1p2pool had 10 second update time since the beginning

fvok4hello there, I have some technical questions about Monero. Is this the best room to ask them?
-
fvok4Specifically, I'd like to know if after Oxygen Orion release, it was mandatory to use CSLAG instead of MLSAG
-
fvok4or if some transactions still use MLSAG, despite benefits of CLSAG
-
fvok4I found out there is a monero-dev room, and I have moved my question to there since it seems more appropriate

jarthurStarted up a monerod node for fun, bound to an Internet-routed unfirewalled IPv6 port for p2p but haven't gotten a single IPv6 connection, inbound or outbound. Is that normal? Is there a special flag for it to self-discover an IPv6 address and report it to peers?
