Ye, I just won't benefit that much in my daily life from this. I have a "dirty" vm for checking files I don't fully trust, used to have a VM for i2p, and think it's enough.

<p​reland:monero.social> It’s a little strict for my threat model personally, but I do like the concept of it. Plus, while not the best option for this use case, it helps to be able to have multiple platforms running in parallel for dev work, as well as not having to care about ruining your base system when messing with dependencies.

<p​reland:monero.social> The two features in Qubes I am looking forward to in the future is gpu acceleration and nested virtualization. When those are added, Qubes will be able to trivially run games, and will be able to run KVM and other virtualization programs inside of Qubes

I like the concept and I enjoy hearing and reading about it sometimes, just personally see no use for it.

Can you play with an integrated GPU? Not in Qubes, but un a regular Linux ran via KVM. I just thought of setting up a dedicated VM for pirated games.

I don't think the executables were malicious, but still would rather isolate them for good practice.
