<r​ucknium:monero.social> I don't know what you're trying to do, but this setup is logical: (a) have the unrestricted RPC port available to your program that will use user:pw credentials. (b) have a restricted RPC port that other users can connect to (c) have the `public-node` flag to advertise that users can connect to your restricted rpc port.

<g​ingeropolous:monero.social> also, are you sure about these ports? restricted-rpc means that there are restrictions on the types of RPC commands that port can serve. thats the port used for random users of your node. It's not "restricted access"
