  Well, if you want to achieve something special there, like using Tor, I am not really the man to ask. But usually, the check is "it works", no?

  To verify, I tried using traffic analysis tools, especially Wireshark, to actually see the traffic goes where it is supposed to go, but with mixed results, it's not that easy
