i almost tripled my investment, at least at current monero prices, i just wish i bought more than half a monero :)

im not even sure why xmr is staying so high, haveno-reto at this point is essentially as easy to use as localmonero

High ? Has monero 10x'd since yesterday ? It was less than 1% of bitcoin, which is criminally insane...

i mean i thought the current price hike is all bc of localmonero

after LM closed it went from about 150 to like 300 and then i think another couple of exchanges dropped monero so it went up, at some point i think to 700

xmr almost has properties of an inelastic good, there's really no alternative to monero that i know of

but i dont think thinking of it in terms of xmr is 1% of bitcoin makes sense does it? it's all relative to the coin itself? idk im bad at economics

i remember frantically collecting people's matrix accounts as LM was dying and then paying $20 fee just to trade monero at higher than market rates privately

my biggest problem with reto is that there's less people supporting like chime or cashapp trades

localmonero was just filled to the brim with people trading chime, venmo, cashapp, whatever you want

you could get the urge "i need monero" at 3am, hop on LM, find like five people up online trading at the exact time, send them chime, and have XMR in like an hour since you had that urge

now i have to like go to some sketchy web-site to get bitcoin, which seems like a similar process to localmonero, but then you need to launch haveno, wait three hours until it sets up all the networks and everything, choose between like two people that are willing to trade the half monero that you are trying to, oh and like you better have some monero at this point because you need deposit to trade, i mean once you do that its smooth

my main observation now that i think of it, is that haveno reto seems to have gotten a little better mainly in the way that you dont seem to need deposit anymore to trade it

at least currently, traders come and go obviously, it's all dependent on heroic efforts of people setting up whatever the hell you need to setup to sell xmr on havenoreto :)
