<rene_guenon:matrix.org> Hi everyone, if someone has C++ and cryptography knowledge, and wants to work on monero genuinely, can he make a living?
-
br-m
<deknos82:matrix.org> i do not know... but if you have genuine knowledge, i might have another job opportunity for you xD
-
br-m
<rene_guenon:matrix.org> @deknos82:matrix.org: Related to monero? I prefer to work on technical aspect of privacy preserving cryptocurrency.
-
br-m
<deknos82:matrix.org> no, it would be more about opensource and implementing general cryptography (but if you're good enough, you probably also could care about kernel or tor on the side, if this job would not charge you at capacity)
-
br-m
<deknos82:matrix.org> (which is.. likely, i think)

br-m
<deknos82:matrix.org> or even still work on monero :D

<rene_guenon:matrix.org> @deknos82:matrix.org: I love it! where we can discuss more?

<ofrnxmr> This room is for development, not general questions abt opportunities > <@peachass:matrix.org> I think you can check the following channel:
-
br-m
<ofrnxmr> #monero-community:monero.social is a better room to ask about opportunities

<rene_guenon:matrix.org> @ofrnxmr: Just saw your message, I will switch to community workgroup immediately.

Hello all, i have made myself a dashboard to monitor my mining when using monero, p2pool and xmrig at the same time, which bring to an issue and that is that I am having an issue with getting the right port? or http API? not sure as late last night my time i noticed the API for p2pool.io was down and it kind of thru the progress i was making ???.

Guest31
any help is greatly recieved, many thanks in advance....
-
DataHoarder
probably #p2pool-log is better
-
DataHoarder
note you can use your local data instead of using an external site to monitor things
-
DataHoarder
p2pool.io api or any of the observers? I see it's all ok
-
Guest31
at my end of the world it is proving to be a challenge
