m-relay<spirobel:kernal.eu> on solana there is a relatively high cost to add state to the network. The nodes need to keep the state(the accounts) in memory to verify transactions quickly. It is possible for users to remove state by closing accounts / burning tokens to reclaim the initial costs of opening the accounts. There is a clear distinction between state(information needed to verify that no double spen<clipped message>

Adding to the ledger costs a comparably smaller fee that can't be reclaimed. In monero the concepts of state and ledger are intertwined. I see the need to price externalities, but the more complex the cost calculation of an atomic action (sending a transaction<clipped message>

How to price the externality of verification time accordingly 2. How to prevent ddos / spam and ensure smooth operation and good ux for normal users when there is a congestion.

m-relay<rucknium:monero.social> Could the fee policy use more analysis? Absolutely, IMHO. AFAIK, right now there are insufficient human resources to do that.

m-relay<syntheticbird:monero.social> We really need to destroy this evil that are memes claiming statistics are the hell of mathematics. You guys are so few.

m-relay<rucknium:monero.social> This is more of a question of economics than statistics, but sure
