<r​ucknium:monero.social> IIRC, the big problem with GPU verification of the blockchain is that GPU instructions aren't as standardized as CPU instructions. If two different GPUs disagree about the validity of a transaction or block, a chain split could result. If you're good at GPUs, you could investigate the status of GPU instruction standardization, the risks, etc.
